We are committed to being green.

Dogs teach us to appreciate the natural world. Their demands are simple; they need wide open spaces to run and play.

As dog walkers, we witness the joy that people get from bringing their dog for a swim at Cherry beach or a run on the trails at High Park. Often the joy is shortlived when the dogs get sick after swimming in polluted water. What good is a creek for dogs to cool off in if it is polluted?

For the sake of our our furry and feathered friends, Rover Achiever is committed to cleaning up our green spaces and minimizing our ecological footprint.

Our green initiatives include:

Using only biodegradeable poo bags. Plastic bags pollute our water system and stay in landfills forever. Rover Achiever supports biobag.ca and EcoSafe biodegradeable plastic bags.

Supporting www.bullfrogpower.com. Rover achiever's home/office is powered by bullfrog. Supporting wind power means less reliability on coal and healthier air for the future.

Printing with vegetable-based inks and on recycleable paper. All of Rover Achiever's marketing materials are printed using greenprinteronline.com.

The pulp and paper industry is the third largest industrial polluter of air, water and land. By printing green, we are doing our part to minimize these consequences.

Offsetting our carbon credits. While our dog walking adventures would not be the same if we did not make our way to Cherry beach or High Park, we can't deny the environmental implications of driving. Our small service area keeps dogs close together to minimize our driving time for pick-ups an drop-offs. We offset our carbon footprint by purchasing carbon credits through www.less.ca
